The chilly weather didn’t stop the crowd from coming out, and Copperwood Tavern was packed with people ready to support the cause. A wonderful assortment of raffle prizes, including a fabulous Louis Vuitton handbag and an Alexander Ovechkin signed hockey stick, attracted oohs and ahhs and raffle ticket sales were brisk all evening. The signature cocktail, “Hope,” set the tone for an evening filled with goodwill and help for those less fortunate.
“We are so grateful to Current Salon & Color Bar, Copperwood Tavern, and Threshold Media for organizing this spectacular event,” said Jennifer Montgomery, Executive Director for Loudoun Hunger Relief “The sold-out crowd and fantastic raffle raised much needed funds. The food drive held all month long at Current Salon & Color Bar provided much needed items for the pantry. Two hundred people gathered last Tuesday night to help the thousands in need in Loudoun County, and we want to thank each and every person who came!”
