Ayda was born in Iran and moved to Loudoun County when she was 10-years-old before attending cosmetology school at the Palomar Institute of Cosmetology in San Diego, California. She is Keratin Complex certified, VIA French Cutting certified and has extensive Eufora training and product knowledge as a result of her passion for the Eufora brand. Following high school, she attended college for marketing and advertising, but decided to instead follow her passion and pursue cosmetology. “My favorite thing about being a stylist is that it is not a job to me,” she says. “I wake up and go to work to enjoy my hobby.”

She began her career in the beauty industry as a salon assistant, which taught her important skills such as time management, and then moved into a stylist position to gain her experience behind the chair. What appeals to her most about the industry is the art of creating shapes and movement using industry-leading techniques, along with using color theory to achieve her clients desired results. As a testament to her work, Ayda was recognized by the Loudoun Times-Mirror in 2016 & 2022 as a finalist for “Best Hairstylist” in their annual reader poll.

Ayda specializes in blonding and low-maintenance color/balayage which she loves for their “timeless” appeal. Though her work as a hairstylist is her first passion, Ayda enjoys many creative outlets, including photography and travel. So far, her favorite places to have visited include Greece, Turkey, Iran, Bali, and Thailand. You can check out Ayda’s travels and photos on her popular Instagram account @ayda_june.
